Milad An-Nabiy
On February 4th 2012, the community members of Greenway Mosque gathered for the “Milad An-Nabiy event.” This event is in remembrance of our beloved Prophet Muhammad’s (Peace be upon him) birthday. Imam Waleed Refai was invited by Imam Didmar Faja as a guest speaker to shed some light on the character of the Prophet Muhammad (a.s). December 30th 2011. It was the
Shahadah of another sister who
turned to Islam, Alhamdulillah !!!
This was the second time within a
week of someone accepting Islam in
our mosque.

December, sisters and brothers of
our community, witnessed the
reversion to Islam of Sally Judah
Hodge. She is originally from
England and that's where she was
first introduced to the teachings of

On the afternoon
of December 11th 2011, nearly 70
Muslims gathered at Chandler Public
Library for an occasion which
included nasheeds, Quran recitation,
and a lecture. The event was hosted
by Dr. Ahmed Mirza, who is the
secretary of Naqshbandiya Foundation
for Islamic Education (NFIE).
The nasheeds and Quran recitation
were offered by some brothers of
NFIE. Imam Didmar Faja presented a

Repentance

God says, “Turn all together toward God [in repentance], O believers, that you may attain bliss” (24:31). It is reported on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the messenger of God ( may God’s blessing and peace be upon him and his family) said, “ the one who repents from sin is like one without sin, and if god loves a servant, sin does not adhere to him.”
It was asked, “O Messenger of God, what is the sign of repentance?” He replied, “Remorse.” ...
