Text Box: Friday Prayer Location and Time The Friday prayer is held at the Greenway Masjid located at the North West corner of 67th Ave. and Greenway Road, in Glendale AZ. Abanian Dars starts at 1 pm, English Khutbah starts at 1:35pm, and Jumua Prayer is held at 2:05 pm. Change in Friday Prayer Timings Please note that there will be a change in Friday Prayer timings starting May 22nd, 2009, inshAllah. The Albanian Dars will begin at 12:30 pm, the Khutbah will begin at 1 pm, and the Jam’aat will be held at 1:30 pm. Please be present according to these times in order to receive the blessing of the Friday prayer, inshAllah. And please, park appropriately around the Masjid. Text Box: Narrated Abu Huraira The Prophet (PBUH) said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba."
