○ It is a Communal Obligation (Fard Kifayah) to support the Masjid.
○ It provides the Masjid with a constant source of income. This enables the Masjid to effectively plan and organize activities for the community.
○ It enables the Masjid to grow according to the needs of the community.
○ It enables the Masjid to recognize its support base. Masjid activities need to be relevant to the people of the community, be in accordance with their needs, address their concerns, and enhance their religious knowledge. Membership is a means to providing this base.
 
What does it take to become a member?
○ Be a good standing Muslim in the community
○ Fill the Masjid membership form.
○ Pay the annual membership of $200.
○ Renew the membership every year.

Membership benefits
○ Only members can be nominated to become Masjid Board members.
○ Only members are allowed to vote during board elections.
○ Members automatically become part of the Masjid’s email list and member directory. 
○ Members will receive periodic emails about upcoming Masjid activities, biweekly Iqamah times at the Masjid, and an annual prayer calendar. The member directory and email list is a private list that the Masjid doesn't share publicly
○ Members will be allowed to check-out books from the Masjid's library, as per the library guidelines.
○ Members will receive a free copy of  the Masjid’s monthly newsletter in electronic or paper format.
